One Ale, Four Coffees

American CraftHaus Brewery recently launched four coffee beers, collaborating with local coffee roasters for its Golden Ale. It’s an interesting project when the brewery infuses four different cold brew coffees using different beans from four roasters for Neighborhood CoffeeHaus, a Golden Ale.

The four coffee roasters are Dark Moon with an Ethiopian Yirgacheffe koke honey-process coffee, Mothership with a Mexico Sierra Azul, Vesta with a Kibingo natural-process coffee from Burundi and Bad Owl with a house blend featuring beans from Ehtiopia, Guatemala, and Brazil. Each roaster roasted their own beans and created their own cold brew concentrate for the coffee beer.

Meanwhile, the golden ale used for the limited edition coffee beer was brewed exclusively for the collaboration. The brewery said in a press release that the ale features “golden straw in color and carries a soft sweetness to complement each cold brew.”
