SEOUL, July 21 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics Inc. said Thursday it will launch DUOBO, a coffee machine capable of extracting from two coffee capsules simultaneously, on the crowdfunding website Kickstarter.

The machine can blend two coffee capsules with distinct flavors.

Users have the option to adjust the extracted temperature and amount via an exclusive app, enabling them to create their own original recipe.

The machine’s design draws inspiration from a spacecraft, reflecting DUOBO’s slogan of “discovering the taste of the universe.”

According to LG, the machine was released on July 20 to commemorate the successful moon landing of Apollo 11 in 1969.
